Since the very first colonization of our coasts, Schooners have been used as transport boats for cargo and passengers, in its various forms and dimensions, in order to meet the needs locally and according to the period of time.
Specifically, the most resistant and robust of our coast, are built in Maranhão, where, because of the magnitude and variation of tides, which can reach 7 meters in the spring tides, boats have to support their own weight plus dry cargo, when, therefore, they are loaded and unloaded.
These construction techniques are applied up until today, using hardwood, appropriate for naval construction, where for each use we employ the very best wood.
They leave the hands of these talented master carpenters the most resistant and beautiful vessels of Brazil.
The continuity of the construction of these truly beautiful works of art, also used for leisure today, is our aim and objective.
